Pale gold. Powerful, mineral-accented aromas of candied lemon, pear skin and licorice, with sexy honeysuckle and jasmine qualities that gain strength with air. Juicy, penetrating and palate-staining orchard fruit flavors are lifted by zesty minerality and show superb energy. Leaves intense mineral notes behind a very long, spicy and focused finish. This vibrant Champagne would be great with unadorned shell fish or sashimi.

Champagne Veuve Fourny & Fils has been an active family domain since 1856. The estate is located in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, in the premier cru village of Vertus. Brothers Charles-Henry and Emmanuel Fourny sustainably farm over nine hectares of vineyards and have been carrying on the family wine growing tradition since 1993.
Veuve Fourny produces classic grower Champagne, raising pedigreed fruit, adhering to high standards, and hand-crafting wines that showcase the chalky terroir of Vertus. All of the Fourny vineyards are farmed according to the same meticulous practices and principles, and each parcel is vinified separately.
