Tasting Note:
Veuve Fourny Grande Rsv Brut 1er Cru NV (RP-90)
Wine Advocate #192, Dec 23, 2010
The NV Brut Premier Cru Grande Reserve is an intense, pointed wine with layers of well-articulated fruit. The wine reveals gorgeous length and a clean finish laced with juicy pears, roasted nuts and nutmeg. The Grande Reserve is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir. This is Lot 1707, disgorged May 5, 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2015.
Veuve Fourny Blanc De Blancs 1er Cru NV (WS-91)
Winespectator.com, Oct 15, 2015
Shows lovely balance, with the lacy mousse carrying a subtle mesh of poached pear, floral, graphite, biscuit and grated ginger notes. Well-knit acidity leads to the toasty finish. Disgorged July 2014. Drink now through 2020. 679 cases imported.
Veuve Fourny Rose Brut 1er Cru NV(WS-92)
Winespectator.com, Oct 31, 2015
A lithe and lively rosé Champagne, with exotic hints of ground cumin and cardamom lacing the flavors of white raspberry, orange blossom, fleur de sel and blanched almond. Elegant, featuring vibrant acidity and a satiny mousse. Disgorged June 2014. Drink now through 2020. 560 cases imported.
Veuve Fourny Rose (Monts de Vertus) Extra Brut 1er Cru NV
Winemaker's note:
To be more precise on the origin of our ''lieux-dits'', the name of this cuvée is ''Monts
de Vertus Rose'' . It is made solely from Pinot Noir, from steep East slope, or South slopes...which provides intense and lively wines: notes of small red fruits, a rare and racy rosé with a surprising palate and persistance.
Veuve Fourny Monts de Vertus Extra Brut 1er Cru 2013
VeuveFourny.com
In order to clarify the origin of our different localities, our wine is called Monts de Vertus. It is composed solely of Chardonnay, from our vines which are over 50 years old, located in the middle of a hillside of chalky topsoil, which produces wines to be kept, with their very pure, mineral and saline style.
Open this bottle when you want to experience an unforgettable moment.
Veuve Fourny Clos Notre-Dame 1er Cru 2009
Winemaker's Note:
A beguiling cuvée, with its complex aromas, deliciously round with lovely honey notes,
minerality and exceptionally long on the palate. Aged at least 9 years in our cellars, this champagne made only with grapes from our own Clos, is really appreciated by amateurs and collectors.

Passionate about their land which has been cultivated by their ancestors since 1856, the Fourny family produce Champagnes from grapes grown in the premier crus of Vertus, a village located in the south of the prestigious Cote des Blancs.
Champagne Veuve Fourny & Fils has been an active family domain since 1856. The estate is located in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, in the premier cru village of Vertus. Brothers Charles-Henry and Emmanuel Fourny sustainably farm over nine hectares of vineyards and have been carrying on the family wine growing tradition since 1993.
Veuve Fourny produces classic grower Champagne, raising pedigreed fruit, adhering to high standards, and hand-crafting wines that showcase the chalky terroir of Vertus. All of the Fourny vineyards are farmed according to the same meticulous practices and principles, and each parcel is vinified separately.
