Some sweet oak on the nose here too, as in the Maison Roche de Bellene Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes, but balanced by the stemmy freshness. Much drier on the finish, more chiselled. More delicate and fragrant. Moreish and refreshing.

The Domaine de Bellene was created in 2005 by Nicolas Potel following the purchase of various parcels of vineyards in Burgundy.
Today, our vineyards extend from Santenay, Saint Romain, Volnay, Beaune, Nuits Saint Georges to Vosne Romanee and all have between 50 to 110 years of age. All vines and wines are processed according to organic methods and vinified without enological adjuvant, no sugaring and acidification. Domaine de Bellene is located in buildings old (16th century) Nicolas Potel, his team and building professionals have restored using the HQE method (high environmental quality).
