Here the expressive nose offers up a pretty array of violet, pomegranate and red cherry liqueur trimmed in very subtle hints of earth and volatile acidity. There is again very good richness to the more finely detailed and vibrant middle weight flavors that possess better complexity and length on the similarly rustic finish. While not technically perfect, this is still very good, and I especially like the focused power.

Instead, it is much more difficult to resist, even though human, correct individual defects occurring during aging of wines, or to act upstream of the culture of the vine to standardize quality and guard against the vagaries of climate.
