Magnum. Bright ruby. Subtle and heady on the nose. Then a bit dry on the end. So much more youthful than the others. Drying end.

Nicolas Potel has released his new Collection Bellenum, a selection of mature burgundy of unimpeachable provenance.
These wines have been selected out of more than 2000 wines, thanks to Nicolas's excellent contacts with famous estates that have been secretely keeping in the cellars some rarities.
All the wines have never moved from Burgundy and will be shipped after the summer 2012. Each bottle is numbered, bears the release date and is packed in a nice wooden case.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase older burgundies in top condition, offered on a first come first served basis.
Bellene ... The origin of the name comes from Bellene Belenos, an ancient Gallic god of sun and beauty similar to Apollo to the Greeks and to the god of the sun to the Celtic. The first name of Beaune City Belena was falling on the roman period, then in the Middle Ages was renamed Belena Bellene Baulne and in the 18th century to finally have it is now Become, "Beaune".
