Whiskymaker's note:
Color: Rich lemony gold.
Nose: Hints of tropical fruits, banana, berries, creamy toffee, vanilla, rich nuttiness and delicate sweet oak.
Palate: Sweet malt, creamy caramel, vanilla, creamy berries, with hints of toasted nuts, tropical fruit, banana and pineapple.
Finish: Long sweet and fruity.

The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. The distillery is owned by Distell.
Bunnahabhain is not a typical, heavily peated, smoke-filled Islay – instead it lets the sea and the island’s nature speak naturally. This welcoming taste embodies the approachable side of Islay.
