Winemaker's note:

Nose: Complex and intense, with notes of violet and black cherry. There are noticeable hints of spices and liquorice that blend well with nuances of cocoa, hazelnut and vanilla.
Taste: Full flavor, with a good structure and soft tannins, with persistent and rich finish.
Good pairing for dishes rich and sauces, legume soups, game, red meat and mature cheeses.

The lineage of the Del Casale grows in the "golden land" of Vasto, Abruzzo, and in a difficult period around the end of 1800. The land available is that of the "coast", which is not the sea shore, but the steep slope of the valley, difficult to work, but the best for production of good quality.

With a legacy of patience and persistence, Del Casale tried for years to bring to best quality wines. Keeping Low light, high humidity, and temperature constantly fresh; an optimal conditions for the aging of red wines.

Today, grown with a long tradition, Paola and Laura represent the present and the future of the Del Casale family.
