For many years its triangular-shaped bottle, known as the "tround", was as iconic as the liquid within. Glenfiddich has chosen to pay homage to this timeless design with its latest bottling, "The Re-imagination of Time". The liquid itself was aged for 30 years in a combination of American and European oak barrels before Glenfiddich's Malt Master selected it for this iconic age-statement whisky.
Aroma: Honey, smoked bacon, leather, pine, old forest, freshly cut wood, hibiscus tea, lemons, seawater and barbecue
Palate: Great combination of peat and fruit. Smoky but very well balanced. A splash of water opens up more herbal notes and plum.
Finish: Medium-bodied, fresh and saline.
