Akkeshi Usui (Bottled 2021) Blended Whisky w/box 700ml

Whiskymaker's note:
The very first blended whisky from the distillery located on the island of Hokkaido, Akkeshi Blended Whisky Usui is a blend of single malts distilled in Akkeshi and aged for at least three years and a complement of imported new make spirits but aged in Japan, with imported grain whiskies. This blend is the second in the "24 Solar term series" which is inspired by the ancient Asian calendar where one year is divided into 24 solar seasons. Its harmonious and peaty profile reveals a rich and fruity nose with notes of citrus, raisins, but also cocoa and creamy cabbage. Reminiscent of a curacao on the palate, the citrus aromas intensify with notes of yellow and lime lemons and juicy oranges. On the finish, the milk chocolate sweetness blends with the spiciness of white pepper notes.
