Most expressiv nose of fresh lime and citrus. Green apple and a light exotic touch. The nose is much bigger than the body. Its more a fine and elegant version of Meursault terroir expression. Acidity is brilliant and sharp, tannins soft and velvet. Not a powerhouse but a queen in expression of fruit and terroir.

Domaine d'Auvenay is a small Burgundian wine estate based in Saint-Romain. It is owned and managed by Lalou Bize-Leroy of Domaine Leroy, having been previously been run by her husband Marcel Bize until his death in 2004. The estate features a hunting lodge that is Bize-Leroy's home.
