Eye: Garnet color of moderate intensity.
Nose: At first they feel hints of cedar, graphite, wood smoke, then with hints of fruit more apparent, especially cherry and ripe raspberry
Palate: Dry and medium-bodied wine shows the first notes of red fruit in the form of cherries and raspberries warned of the nose, followed dal'aroma of plum and the whole is surrounded by aromas of wild herbs and oak with a hint of minerality that is persistent through the long finish.

Quintarelli is considered by many to be the best producer of Amarone della Valpolicella.The estate dates back to 1924 and the current Giuseppe Quintarelli has been in charge since the mid1950s.
Giuseppe is one of the most traditional of Amarone producers, ageing his wine for seven years in Slavonian oak "botti". The resulting wine is one of the most complex wines produced in Italy.
Even though he is traditional in his Amarone production, it does not follow that Giuseppe is afraid of innovation. As well as the excellent Amarone, he produces an excellent dry white wine simply called Bianco Secco and an unusual, but delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Corvina called Primo Fiore.
