Nose: Rich and opulent, with raisins, figs, dates, dark fruit cake and bittersweet dark chocolate, shot through with plum and cherry.

Palate: Heavy and thick, with the rich, sweet fruit and fruit cake from the nose, joined by touches of bitter barrel char, and both sweet and sour cherry notes.

Finish: Long, with the sweet-and-sour cherry from the palate, bitter dark chocolate and developing oak tannins.
