Serge Dagueneau Pouilly Fume Clos des Chaudoux 2020 750ml

Winemaker's note:
The grapes are hand harvested from our “Clos des Chaudoux” parcel. They are selected, destemmed and macerated for more or less ten hours in an anaerobic environment before pressing. This skin maceration favours the extraction of very fine and complex aromatic and
mineral compounds. It is a well structured wine that can safely be kept for up to ten years.
In the mouth, it is round, full bodied and very elegant. It is a good match for more flavourful
white meat dishes and fish served with sauce.

The Loire meanders through the sun-drenched slopes of Pouilly. Since the 5th century these slopes have been home to one of the most exquisite expressions of a vineyard; the renowned Pouilly-Fume wine.
For more than four generations, the family has shared a common passion: working the vineyard and making wine. This passion has been passed from father to sons and now from father to daughters!
The Estate is situated on the slopes of Pouilly-sur-Loire and St-Andelain where we produce Pouilly-sur-Loire and Pouilly-Fume on 17 hectares.
